Workshops within Graphene 3D project

  • Symposium “6th month results and next planning”, on 17-21 July 2017, at IMech-BAS, Sofia, Bulgaria

First Symposium on Graphene 3D project was held on 17-21 July 2017 in Sofia, at the Graphene 3D Coordinator, IMech-BAS. The program was included presentations on the Work Package 2. The Symposium has 30 Participants representing the 10 project Partners. The Progress reports of the WP2 and the 6 th month Progress Report of Graphene 3D were discusses, together with presentations on the research work done at different teams of the partners. The results within the first 6 months work were summarised in the second MC/MB meeting on 20 July and the next steps were planned.

    Program

  •  International Workshop and Mid-Term Review Meeting, 22-26 May, Namur, Belgium

International Workshop on “Nanocomposite polymers for 3D printing of high-tech structures“ will be organized on 22 - 23 May 2018 at UNamur, in Namur, Belgium. About 10 speakers inside and outside of the Consortium and Poster presentations from ERs/ESRs will be invited. The seconded ESRs and ERs will present posters on their work within the Graphene 3D project. The goal of this first Workshop will be to summarize the achievements of the Graphene3D Consortium for 17 months period and to network larger number of researchers from the 10 partnering Organizations working within this project.
General Assembly meeting and “Mid Term Review meeting with the EC” will take place on 24th and 25th of May 2018 at UNamur, followed by debriefing on 26th May with the Management Board and the GA.

  • Training school for ESRs at UniSa, Salerno, Italy in 2019

Training School for ESRs “Advanced methods for characterization of graphene-based nanocomposites”, 26-30 May, in Salerno, Italy was hosted by the project partner UniSa. More than 30 ESRs and ERs took place in the school. The program was very well organized, including well selected lectures given by external top researchers and ERs from some project partners. In the afternoons, the ESRs were trained in many laboratories at UniSa, having possibilities to work with the advanced equipment and to test the project samples. In the last day, all participating ESRs have prepared personal reports on their experimental results. During the final session, the ESRs gave presentations in 3 groups on the all learned tests and analysis of experimental results. Three ESRs won the "best poster" competition and received awards.

List of ESR awards-winners:
1. Ana-Paula Godoy (Mack Graphe, Sao Paolo, Brazil)
2. Radost Ivanova (IMech-BAS, OLEM, Sofia, Bulgaria)
3. Giovanni Spinelli (UniSa, Salerno, Italy)
